Lifted Up… Overhearing "The Divine Conversation"
For several years, Pastor Shelley and his congregation in
Alabama have been waiting expectantly for the third trance vision. On
December 21, , Pastor Shelley experienced a wonderful supernatural
manifestation after praying for a couple at the end of that Sunday evening
service.
On December 28, , the Sunday morning before the Winter
Campmeeting at the Eagle's Refuge Holiness Campground of the New Hope Revival
Center in Smiths, Alabama, Pastor Shelley related to the congregation the
experience that he had had the Sunday before. As he shared it under
a great anointing, great expectation began to rise about a new season that
God is bringing to His Bride!
On that previous Sunday as he was standing at the front
praying, Brother Shelley could just feel himself being pulled higher and
higher. Finally, as he stood at the front of the tabernacle, physically,
with his eyes closed, he was aware of the fact that the Holy Ghost had lifted
him above the tabernacle, and he was looking down on himself and others
standing there.
He kind of chuckled in his spirit and wondered what he was
doing there, because at first he couldn't see or hear anything heavenly.
Then he began to hear a conversation in the Spirit that was going on
a little bit higher than he was. He heard two voices speaking to one
another. He heard a plan being formulated, and a commission being
given for this plan to be carried out. He believed it to be the Voice
of God, speaking to an angelic being, a messenger of heaven.
He heard Him tell the other voice what was going to happen
and what needed to be done. He heard, "There is no room for mistake.
There is no room for a margin of error. It must be carried out
precisely as I have instructed you."
He began to feel like he was hearing a conversation that
was none of his business, and he felt a little bit bad. He wondered, 'Why in the world would the Spirit of God be dealing with me in such a way,
that I'm listening to a conversation that's not for my ears?"
About that time, the voice responded back to the One
giving the commission that there should not be any concern because he
understood the mission precisely. He said, "I have every intention of
carrying it out exactly as You have commissioned me."
Then the Voice that he perceived to be the Voice of God
said, "Wait patiently for the signal. And when I give you the signal,
you'll know that now is the time."
The voice answered back very humbly, "Sir, would it be
wrong for me to ask how long before the signal should come?"
The Voice of God answered, "No, it is allowed." There
was a pause, and then the Voice said, "Very, very soon."
This angel messenger answered back, "Yes, sir."
Then he heard that Voice say, "As the old year is leaving,
and the new year is beginning, during that season I'll give you the signal."
After Pastor Shelley felt a little embarrassed over having
heard this conversation, the Voice was then directed right to him. And
the first phrase that he heard the Voice of God speak was something like this, "You have wondered why I have allowed you to hear these things."
And he just answered in the Spirit, "Yes, Lord."
He began to give him in the Spirit some beautiful details
that he plans to share with us at a later appropriate time, concerning a real
change in the spiritual season.
At other times, the Lord had been saying that things are
about to change in the spirit realm, and the anointing of God is going to
increase, the prophetic is going to be greater, and miracles are going to
multiply among us, even promising those great creative miracles.
This was not the long awaited "Third Vision", but it
stirred the hearts of everyone there that God had not forgotten and that
perhaps the vision would come during that Campmeeting. It did not come
then, but the anointing in the services was great, and several people had
divine appointments with the Lord. Still we wait, with great
expectancy…
