Icelanders in Israel
Pastor
Shelley and his pilgrimage group from Iceland have now
returned home from a special time here in Israel.
Now that I have regrouped a bit, I will start the
process of sharing with you some of the highlights of
what the Lord spoke and did.

There is also a picture of the brothers sitting just
inside the Eastern Gate. While they were sitting
there, Pastor Shelley was moved as he began to sing the
old gospel song, "I will meet you in the morning
- just inside the Eastern Gate."
Two of the
Icelandic brothers are on staff of the Gospel
Channel which has been hosting Pastor Shelley's
program, "The Eagle's Cry," as
part of their satellite TV
broadcasting. The Jewish owner of an
eating place in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City
greeted Pastor Shelley excitedly by saying that
he had seen his program on TV and it was
very good!
Glory on Yom Kippur
I always
enjoy going to the Western Wall near the end of Yom
Kippur to see the Jewish people ending their prayers and
blowing their shofars. When three stars can be
seen in the sky signaling the end of Yom Kippur,
the students and rabbis from a yeshiva
in the Jewish Quarter come dancing down the stairs,
across the plaza and down to the Wall.
I took
many pictures of them in succession, but this picture
was different than all the rest.
That cloud of glory was only in this
photo! There was no smoke in the natural!
Some have said it looks like the face of a lion, but it
is a little hard to see in this condensed photo.
They were singing and dancing like David did, and I
believe that this picture is evidence of
the Lord inhabiting their praises!
Visitation of Ministering
Angels
Pastor
Shelley had several night visitations
on this trip. In this update I would like to share
one of them.
At the
hotel on the shore of the Galilee, he was awakened in
the middle of the night, and the room appeared
as bright as daylight. Then three
angels appeared, each going to the foot of one
of the three beds in the room where two other brothers
were sleeping.
They began to move each of their hands in
a vertical circular motion. Then Pastor
Shelley heard the Spirit of the Lord say that it
was the wheel within the wheel.
He said that ever since he was a boy he has made
that motion sometimes while he was worshiping. He
remembered seeing Sister Ruth Heflin make that motion
often when the Anointing came.
In a
sermon in Jerusalem the following weekend, Pastor
Shelley shared his experience:
And I thought, "What are
they doing?" But I was afraid to speak
because they didn’t come to talk - I could
tell.
And all of a sudden I heard a Voice
speak out and it said, "They’re ministering.
They’re ministering angels. They’re ministering to
you."
And I
could see that each one had an assignment - all three of
the . . . Hallelujah. All three were standing at
the foot of our three beds.
And then I had a knowledge . . . It
wasn’t a word spoken out. But I had a knowledge
drop in that they were ministering to us
according to what we
needed.
Then
Pastor Shelley gave us some insights about how
God ministers to our needs, even those we are not aware
of.
Angels Leave at Dawn
Whenever
we go to the Sea of Galilee, I always get up early, just
before sunrise if possible, to watch the birds and
commune with the Lord. This is a picture I took on
this trip. The following weekend as Pastor Shelley
was telling us about this angelic visitation, he
said:
 Well, there were some
other things that happened. But one thing that
I’ll mention is I didn’t notice any difference in the
light of the room, but one angel spoke out and said to
the other, "We have to go. We must
go."And I
knew in my spirit that it was morning - that
the morning was dawning and that they were
leaving. And that’s a whole other issue
altogether.
But I
have believed in my heart from the Scripture of the
Angel of the Lord wrestling with Jacob, He had
to go because the dawn is breaking, the morning
is coming.
I’ve
believed for many years that at the rising of the sun,
when the sun is coming up, that it’s a very,
very spiritual time. And I believe that
angels sometimes receive their
assignments at the breaking of the dawn, or at
the rising of the sun.
No matter what time zone you’re in, I
believe that’s a very prophetic time. I
can say that from my own personal
experiences.
(Gen 32:24) And Jacob was left
alone; and there wrestled a man with him until
the breaking of the
day.
(Gen
32:25) And when he saw that he prevailed not
against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the
hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled
with him.
(Gen
32:26) And he said, Let me go, for
the day breaketh. And he said, I will not
let thee go, except thou bless
me.

Winter Campmeeting
Pastor
Shelley's Winter Campmeeting in Smith's Station,

have been ministering to you according to your needs in
the night without you even knowing it! May the Lord satisfy your
