Climbing
Higher
The word "shana" has a double
meaning as well. In addition to "repeat," it also
means "change". As the year goes go round and
round, repeating the same seasons and holidays as the
year before, we are presented with a choice: Do we
want this shana (year) to be a repetition, or do
we want to make a change (shinui)?
Hopefully, each year we make choices for change that are
positive, and each year we will climb higher and
higher, creating a spiritual spiral.
The shape of the Rosh Hashana challah
reminds us that this is the time of year to make those
decisions. This is the time to engage in the
creative spiritual process that lifts us out of
the repetitive cycle, and directs our energies toward a
higher end.
Amen! Let's do
it!

In
Closing
Please keep
praying for us and helping with our financial need as
you are able. The beginning of the Jewish
New Year is a great time to sow a seed into Jerusalem
and believe for a personal
harvest!
Pastor
Shelley and his family sends this New Year's
blessing to you:
May your year
be filled with Breakthroughs and His Heavy
Glory!!
May you find
special grace to lock up every lie that your enemy tells
you...to only confess God's Word over your
lives...and to
completely BELIEVE what you know.
May you often
taste the sweetness of HIS words and live in true
agreement with Heaven.
May you walk
in perfect health and strength...and daily soak in His
Love and Presence.
May your
lives be filled with His abundance.
This is OUR
prayer for you!!
Have a Sweet New Year, spiraling
ever upward!
Blessings from
Jerusalem!
