Update from Jerusalem  -  June/July 2005

Great Change Is Coming!

July 8, 2005

Dear Friends in Y'shua,

I have a great excitement in my spirit concerning the nearness of time to the fulfillment of one of Pastor Shelley's 1995 visions and of the promises of God for the many-membered Bride of Y'shua!  I will share more about that in this update, but first...

Prayers taken to Western Wall

Thank you so very much to those who heard the call of the Spirit and sowed into the ministry here to help us pay our quarterly rent!  Only a few days after the rent due date we had the full amount to be able to pay it!  We are so grateful to the Lord and to those of you He used and pray that He would pour the blessings back to you in abundance!

As promised, we took all of the envelopes and prayer requests that were sent in and placed them immediately on our prayer altar here in Jerusalem.  During one of the services the week before Shavuot, the anointing was very strong following the preaching of the Word, and Pastor Shelley was moved on by the Spirit to pray powerfully for the prayer requests.  The following week he took the specific prayer requests to the Western Wall, and he and the other brothers with him prayed for them again and inserted them into the Wall.  See picture:

We would love to hear any testimonies of answered prayer!

You would also enjoy reading Pastor Shelley's latest additions to his blog from this recent Jerusalem trip.  He has posted many new pictures from some of the new Biblical sites that we visited including Shiloh, Bethel, Ai, Mount Gerazim, Solomon's Pools and the little fertile valley surrounded by hills that Solomon described when he wrote about a "garden enclosed" in Song of Songs 4:12.  And there is much more.

The View from My Part of the Wall

(Isa. 52:8)  Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

Those who are watchmen see the view from their respective positions on the "Kingdom Wall" and lift up their voices to declare what they see.  As we get closer to the end of the "End Days," the full picture will come into focus as we each share what we see by the Spirit.  My desire in these updates is to declare what I see God doing from my assigned position on the "walls" of Jerusalem.

I told you once before that what interests me the most is to watch the Spirit of God blow upon His wheat field - that's us!  He has chosen to accomplish His purposes through us, therefore we can watch Him at work as we observe Him blowing upon and through us and our leaders.

I felt that I needed to say that so that you can understand that when I share with you about things that bless me from Sister Ruth Heflin's walk with the Lord (as I did often in the past), or from Bro. William Branham's or Pastor Steven Shelley's walk with the Lord or others', my intention is to say, "Wow! Look what God has done, is doing and is planning to do!"  It is never for the purpose of exalting men.

With that in mind, let me declare what I see...

Vision - Pastor Steven Shelley - May 22, 2005

In the Sunday morning service in Alabama just before he left for Israel, Pastor Shelley had a very significant vision, which he described in the evening service.  Here are some excerpts:

Revelation 10, verse 1:

1.  And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

2.  And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

3.  And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

4.  And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

5.  And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

6.  And swore by him that liveth forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

7.  But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

In 2002, you know how the Lord spoke, and He said, "I want you to go to Israel."  And I knew that I was to go.  I knew for some time that I was to go.  I knew because of a dream He had given me that I would go, but I didn't know when.  And God put it in my heart and said that I would go.

And I asked the Lord one thing, "Just give me some little reason.  Help me to understand why now would be the time."

And I didn't understand it then, and I don't understand it now completely, but He spoke to me by the Holy Ghost, that same Voice that I have come to recognize, and He said, "I'll only tell you this - it has something to do with the seven unknown thunders."

I've searched my heart to try to make sure that that is what He said - "unknown thunders."  And even this week, several times if I'm reading the Bible, it will quickly just cross my mind, but I wasn't meditating on it.  Oftentimes, it just kind of crosses my mind.

When I was in Israel in 2002 with the brothers, I even took a day alone in the apartment where we were staying, prayed all day, waited on the Lord and believed that the Lord would speak something to me.  And He never really gave me anything that was so spectacular.  And so, I just hold that in my heart, and I know that it's pivotal.  And I know that it was enough, because I was fearful for my wife, my children, my family.  They were talking about war coming on, and it would not have been a pleasant time to choose to go, but yet that is how it happened.  And that was enough.

Well, I'm just going to share this with you, not easy to do it.  But I was standing here on the platform this morning, sometime during the praise and worship, and I had a little vision, an experience with the Lord.  It was only a few seconds, but it really left me jittery all day long - just kind of nervous.

I cannot tell you what I saw because I don't know exactly what I saw.  I know for sure it was a vision.  I don't know how to describe it - it was more abstract.  It kind of reminds me of Jewish art. You have to figure out what it was.  It wasn't something so clear and so plain that I could tell you that there was a ladder here and a door opened and the wind blew in and the grass bent over - I didn't see it like that.

But very, very quickly I just saw clouds moving . . . it looked like clouds, moving very fast.  And they were not moving as though all were going in the same direction or blowing this way or blowing that way or up or down.  There just seemed to be a wind in these clouds.  And they were just spinning.  And the thing that I noticed the most was this low, roaring thunder sound that lasted the entire few frames or seconds of the vision.  And it sounded like it was a long way away, getting just slightly louder, not extremely louder, just slightly louder, but it never ceased or stopped until the picture was gone.  It sounded like it was coming from far away, just roaring almost like a train, but I felt like it was thunder because it had almost syllables in it, fluctuations of influx in the sound.  It got a little bit louder, not extremely loud, but a little bit louder, and it continued throughout.

And then in the midst of all those clouds that were moving around, I saw flashes of colored lights - not just one light or just clear light or white light, but flashes of lights like the colors of a rainbow, flashing all around in flashes, like a flash on a camera.  And in the distance, behind the clouds that were moving and those colored flashing lights, I saw the entire picture flash like heat lightning - not streaked lightning, but heat lightning that just lights up the sky and it's gone, lights up the sky and it's gone.  That was going on in the background, the clouds were moving in the front and those colored flashes of lights were going on with that loud roar thunder.  And then it was gone.

Now that is strange.  And I wouldn't even share it because what good does it do if you don't know what it was?  But I know it wasn't my imagination.  I've had enough visions to know when a vision's breaking.

But all of a sudden I had a knowing.  It was not a voice that I heard, it was a knowing - I just knew it.  It was like I had had a revelation or an inspiration or I had known something all along and now it just came out.  It was very clear to me.  I just knew it in the Spirit, without yet knowing what this picture meant.  I just all of a sudden knew where we were standing.  I just all of a sudden knew that we were now standing in that place between the Seals and the Trumpets.

Now that sounds strange to some people.  Those Seven Trumpets were to whom?  To the Jews.  The Seals were to the Bride - to help the Bride know where she was going to stand in the End-time.

I never realized it before exactly, but where is Revelation 10?  It's in the middle.  It's between the Seals and the Trumpets [between the seventh seal and the seventh trumpet].  And I just knew in the Spirit that we were standing in the place of the Seven Thunders.  I knew that's where we were standing.  And in my spirit, I sensed that they were like a bridge connecting the Seals and the Trumpets.  I believe that we are standing in the hour where God is about to make clear to us what John could not tell.

I do believe that a foundation is being laid for a quick, short message that will go forth.  I believe that it's a quick thing that God is about to do.

And it causes me to approach Him very reverently.  Because if there is any truth to it at all - what I see and what I have known by the Spirit - this is a very exciting season to be walking in!

And why would it be exciting?  I mean, why would it mean anything to us?  We've come so far.  And what relevance would it be?

He reads the following quotes from two sermons of Bro. William Branham:

Third Seal - "Oh, they've got millions and millions and millions of church members, but not a revival nowhere."  (This is March the 20th of 1963.)  "No, no.  The Bride hasn't had a revival yet. See?  There's been no revival there, no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet.  See?  We're looking for it.  It will take those Seven Unknown Thunders back there to wake her up again. He will send it.  He promised it."

Here's another one I hold onto to let me know that it hasn't happened yet.  Now that was '63.  He just only preached the Third Seal.  There was plenty more revelation to flow, wasn't there?  In '65, Bro. Branham was still saying it hadn't come.

1965, November the 25th, Shreveport, Louisiana.  This is just about as close to the end as you can get of his life.  And he said, "...watch, when the spiritual Bride, when She begins to have a revival, when She begins to come back and line Herself up with the Word of God, watch then again how that the Scriptures . . . at that time there'll be a message sweep out to catch that Bride, catch that woman, elect."

Then he goes on to talk about Luther and Wesley a little bit and Pentecost, and then he says, "But then the time that the people are ready to line up, there is a message that comes forth then, and they line up with it."

I believe that it is in the "Message" that God has sent us.  We are not looking for a new message or a new messenger or anything of the sort.  We're looking for God to come and take that word and make it real to us and reveal it to us.

John knew what it was, but God told him, "Seal it up. It is not time."  I don't hear anybody else after that saying they know what it is, but God does.  The One who revealed it the first time to John is with us, and He's able to speak it again.  It's going to be supernatural.

How many of you have read this week concerning this archaeologist who's very famous and very well known, Vendyl Jones?  Anybody read about Vendyl Jones this week?  He is the archaeologist that they based the film "Indiana Jones" on.  He was a Baptist preacher who sort of converted to Judaism many years ago and started following the Noahich Laws that he might have inheritance with the promises of the Jews.

He has found some very interesting things over the years.  I don't have any idea if what he says is true.  I couldn't tell you, but he believes that he knows, just like several others believe they know . . . he believes he knows where the Ark of the Covenant is.

And he has a daughter who converted to Judaism who lives in Israel who is also a Kabbalist.  She is involved in Kabbalah which is a mystical form of Judaism.  And he kept asking his daughter to ask this mystery Kabbalist, this rabbi (who is unknown) in Israel, "When would it be time to bring out the Ark of the Covenant?"

And he kept saying to her to give this message to her father, "Not now, not now."  And the last time they had communication, I think, was the Fall of last year.  He asked, and the message came back from this spiritual rabbi - spiritualist, maybe, rabbi - "It is not time."

Last week he sent a message to Vendyl Jones' daughter.  This is being told everywhere.  If you haven't heard it, I'm surprised.  It's on Messianic sites, it's on Jewish websites, it's been carried by the AP, Associated Press.  This Kabbalist rabbi sent a message to Vendyl Jones' daughter and said to, "Tell your father, 'Now is the time'" - that is, if he really knows where it is.

And he has announced that he's going to get it and bring it out in August of this year.  He set the date.  And it's a very serious thing because the last time they even tried to make a tunnel down in that area, people died in the streets.  The Arab people don't want the Ark of the Covenant to come out because they know if it comes out, it'll give the Jews strength to take the Temple Mount.

It's kind of a prophetic thing going on there.  And he says he's going to bring it out, and he's going to bring it out just in time to stop the disengagement [Jews leaving Gaza and a small part of the West Bank].  And again I want to tell you, I have no idea whether he knows where it is or not.  I do know he's a smart fellow.

He found the "ketoret."  He found the incense that was used in Temple times - a stockpile of it in a cave in Qumran.  He is the one who found it.  And he found this heap - it was like a heap in a cave.  And he went to it, and as he got close to it, they smelt cinnamon and . . .  Maybe it was found, and he was brought in to look at it.  I don't remember the exact detail.  [His archaeological team found it.]

But when they got close to it, it had a smell of cinnamon.  And they took it and analyzed it, and it had every one of the ingredients of the holy incense.  And that's a very, very significant thing. It was very, very significant in Israeli archaeology.

I'll tell you this - if he does know where it is and he brings it out in August, there will be no disengagement.  He's right about that.  There will be a massive unification in Israel like never before.  The secular and the religious will be one.

And it really gives us something to ponder and think about.  I can't imagine it!  So I'm a doubting Thomas.  I can't imagine that he really knows where it is.  And I can't imagine that he's going to bring it out in August.  But if he does, there will be some very unusual and significant events that take place in the Land of Israel because I know there are people who will rebuild the Temple.  They'll do it!

And why is that important?  Because . . . well, it's kind of important because it helps us again to know where we are.  We're right between the fulfillment of anything that is left over in the Seals and right between the fulfillment of anything that's left over in the Trumpets.  Some of those Trumpets have already come to pass historically.  But there are some things, little missing pieces, here and there . . .

Wouldn't it be wonderful if by this time next year, we had gotten in our hearts all that God wants to make real to us and we were right in the middle of that wonderful quick, glorious revival that's going to rally the Bride around the world, bring her into her place and where she'll be speaking the Word and manifesting the attributes of God and ready to move out?

Wouldn't that be wonderful?  Oh, you sound so excited about it.  That's all right, I know that I'm excited!  Hallelujah!  It's gonna come that way - one of these days!

December 2005 - Great Change Is Coming!

With great excitement, Pastor Shelley, in our Jerusalem services, shared a vision that he had experienced in 1995 in which the Angel of the Lord referred to December 2005!  Pastor Shelley had forgotten about it, but it was mentioned by Bro. Enzo Salvador, one of the brothers who was preaching in the church in Alabama while Pastor Shelley was here in Jerusalem.

Here are some excerpts that I have merged together from Pastor Shelley's preaching in two different services:

In this vision I saw dates, months and years written out flashing by my face.  And I'd see one, and I'd try to think of what it meant, and it would pass on.  And one of the dates that I saw was December of 1965.

And I said out loud in this vision, "Oh, that's the year that Bro. Branham died, because he had a great ministry as a prophet, but in 1965 he died.  He was gone.  His body was buried, and so it was finished.  So, when I saw that date . . . of course, I wasn't alive in '65 so I wouldn't have thought of anything else.  So my first thought was, "Oh, the year Bro. Branham died - December 1965."

The Angel of the Lord spoke to me in this vision and said, "No, that's not what it represents. It represents the end of a one-man ministry.  That was the year that the first phase of the Seventh Angel's ministry was completed."  That one-man phase was finished and now God was starting the second phase.  It would not be on one man any longer, but it would be the Seventh Angel, the spirit of Elijah, with a many-membered Bride, the Body of Christ, being used - no longer to focus on one man or one ministry, whoever your man is, whoever your ministry is that you have felt connected to or whatever.

Please understand that even in his time there were other men ministering powerfully under the anointing of God.  But there was a great focus on his ministry because he seemed to have a calling that the others didn't have.  He seemed to be fulfilling something that others were not fulfilling.  He was bringing some things that others were not bringing way ahead of time, way ahead of schedule, it appeared to be.  But God said, "It's not going to be that way anymore, everyone focusing on one man, looking to one man for the answer.  It's going to be a many-membered Body.  This was a little bit hard for me to understand at the time, but it happened.

This is very, very powerful.  And I'm sorry to say that it had slipped my mind over these years.  I've been with some of these people now nearly 15 years, and I've preached to them thousands of times, and I've seen hundreds of visions, and I can't possibly remember them all when I want to. And I was so stirred!  I jumped up!  I felt like I'd been plugged in!  I just was movin' around the room!  I thought, "Wow!  How could I forget something like that?  How could I forget something like that?  I can't believe I . . .  But it was just fresh!

Then He flashed another date before me.  It was April 1968.  I didn't have to think one second to know what that year was.  It was the year I was born, the month and the year I was born, three years after Brother Branham died, 1968, April.

Then I saw another date.  This was just God dealing with me as an individual.  It wasn't for you or some kind of icon for you to follow or anything like that, it was just perhaps something for me.  He gave me another year - September 1975.  I paused for a moment.  I thought, "What in the world is September of '75?"  And I asked the Lord, and He spoke to my spirit, "That was the month that you were filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and began your ministry."

Then He showed me another year and another month - December of 1995.  Now this vision was in '95, but it was not yet December '95.  So I was seeing now something in the future.  And I said, "Lord, I know what that means.  I'm going to Africa, and my mother, God willing, is going with me. (I wasn't married at the time.)  And I'm going to take some other friends with me, so I know that must be what you're showing me."  I was invited to preach a convention in Ghana - dedicate a church.  "No," the Spirit said.  "This is the 30th anniversary of the harvest cycle."  I'd been preaching on harvest cycles.  And December of '95 was 30 years since Bro. Branham had died. Since the ministry had shifted from a one-man to a many-membered Body, it had been 30 years.  The emphasis has changed.  And that was what the answer was.

And then all of a sudden, and I totally forgot this, I saw December 2005.  And I realized, as the Lord was speaking to me, that it was 40 years.  A 40-year cycle.  And we go all the way through the Bible, and we see those 30-year cycles in the life of John the Baptist and the life of Joseph and so many.  And then we see 40-year cycles which is the cycle of a generation.  And God let me look ahead and see that.  And He let me know, He said this to me in this vision, "Great change is coming, December 2005, great change . . ."

Now you don't know my excitement because if there's one thing I have confidence in, it's when God speaks to me.  Now I know that sounds braggadocious or prideful, but I don't mean that.  But I have confidence when God speaks to me!  When He speaks to me, I know it's right because I've proven Him and tested Him and tried Him.  And that is the witness of the Spirit. But this had slipped my mind!  It was 10 years ago.  It's caught up with me!  Here I am 6 months from December of 2005, and my memory is shaken, and I realize that in less than 6 months from now the Lord has made a promise that a great change was going to take place in His Body.  And I believe it!  I believe it!  I believe it!  I really, really believe!  I just know it's done!  I don't even know what it is, but it's done for me.  I can't hardly wait!  I don't know what it is, but it's the end of that 40-year cycle again, reminding us.

And this brother in our church was presenting this.  He said that Bro. Branham's fatal accident was on the first night of Hanukkah.  It was represented by one little light on the Hanukkiah, but the ministry changed to a many-membered Body.  It's for the whole Body of Christ.  This spirit of Elijah is not just on one man like it was in the time of John the Baptist.  It's on the Body.  It's an anointing, that God has promised, for the Bride to overcome in the End-time.  So please understand.  I only mention these things about Bro. Branham to tell you where we've come to, not to put emphasis on one man, but to show you what God desires to do in this hour.  It's not looking back to anybody's ministry.  It's looking ahead to see what the Lord is going to do in His Body.  The light increases every night that the Hanukkiah is lit.  The light gets brighter and brighter.  And at the end, it's a multitude of lights.

And that's exactly what God was showing me ten years ago when He said that in December of '65, the ministry changed.  It was not one man anymore, but it was a many-membered Body.  God was getting ready to do something in the Bride of Christ, and many lights were about to get lit. And that's what God did on Shavuot.  He lit a whole lot of lights.  He lit a whole lot of flames over people's heads by the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.  We have everything we need to make the rapture.  We have everything we need to meet God.  It's in us.  It's been sown into us by the Word.  We only need for His Spirit to come and brood over us and draw those things into manifestation.  I'm telling you, I believe that what we need is in us.  We just need God to come down and make it real - quicken it, make it alive.  And one of the ways we practice this is by giving God the glory.  Giving God the praise.  It is well!  It is well!  It is well!  All is well!  God is doing great things!

1967 was the birth of the Charismatic revival, and it happened almost simultaneously with the Six Day War, the beginning of the unification of the City of Jerusalem.  Everybody knows, whether they want to admit it or not, that Israel is God's timepiece.  It's the clock on God's wall. Nothing happens in Israel in vain.  Even tragedy, even bloodshed, even death happens for a purpose.  It's another minute on God's clock - His time table to reveal something to us.

Now, 1967 to 2007 is a 40-year generational cycle!  Could it possibly be saying to us that another great move of God, another great revival, will soon be ushered in somewhere between the year of 2005 and 2007?  I believe that's what it's saying!  I really believe that's what it's saying!

And here was the kicker for me.  God spoke to me many years ago.  I was probably no more than 27, 28 at the time - maybe 26.  And He said, "You'll experience the prime of your ministry between 30 and 32."  Well, I am now 37, and when I was 30, I was going through the darkest trials of my life.  No prime!  No peak!  It felt like the end.

I had no answer.  All I knew is what God said.  I never doubted what God said.  And I don't know if this thought ever crossed my mind.  If it had, if it has crossed my mind, it was a fleeting thought, and it never stayed with me.  But this year, I'm going to celebrate a 30.  Not my 30 years on earth, but my 30th year of preaching.  I preached my first public message in September of 1975 [at the age of 7]I'm going to celebrate my 30th year of preaching the Gospel in September 2005.

We did a 40-year cycle just a moment ago, and it ended up in 2007 - between the years of 2005 and 2007.  If perhaps the Lord is giving us the right understanding of this Word He gave me years ago, perhaps it would be that the prime of my ministry would be between my 30th and 32nd anniversary of preaching, not my 30th and 32nd year on the earth.  If that be the case, it certainly correlates with this 40-year harvest cycle.

If you were telling me I'd have to check it out and try it by the Spirit, I'd be nervous about it.  But since I know what He said . . .  And I know that He's never lied to me!  Hallelujah!  He's proven Himself!  So faithful all of these years!  It fills my heart with great anticipation!

And Bro. Enzo even spoke it out, "Could it be that this would be the beginning of the last revival, the revival for the Bride of Christ, that would move us all into our positions for a quick, short work of deliverance for those on this earth that need deliverance and are calling out?  Could it be that the one-man ministry is truly over - it's finished, it's dead - and God is helping us to all awaken ourselves to this corporate ministry, the many-membered Body of Messiah all over the world made up of both Jew and Gentile coming to the same faith, standing on the same foundation, celebrating the same Biblical things, worshipping in the same Biblical way, declaring the same truths?

Messages in Jerusalem on the Anointing

In six Jerusalem services, Pastor Shelley preached wonderful messages on "The Three Anointings of David," "Prophet, King and Priest" and "Holy Anointing Oil."  Here is a short synopsis of these messages:

In "The Three Anointings of David," by examining the Hebrew roots, Pastor Shelley revealed that there are three levels of the anointing - poured on, smeared on and rubbed in.  "Poured on" is the first level which we feel on our flesh.  (David was anointed and then went back to tending sheep.)  "Smeared on" is the second level which brings change to our human spirit to bring it more in line with God's Spirit.  (David became king over Judah.)  "Rubbed in" is the final level of the anointing which penetrates to our soul, the inside of the inside, and brings us into the fullness of our calling and separation unto the Lord.  (David became king over all of Israel.)

The message, "Prophet, King and Priest," revealed how God is preparing His Bride to walk in these three anointings.  The "prophetic anointing" is important to be able to prophesy the Word, receive revelation, discern times and seasons, and discern spirits.  (David walked in this level of anointing first.)  The "kingly anointing" helps us to be praisers and walk in the authority of who we are, the sons of the King.  (David became king over Judah, which means "praise."  The praisers always went first in marching to battle.)  The "priestly anointing" is the ministry of reconciliation, enabling us to minister effectively to others, intercede on their behalf and change the atmosphere around us to encourage others.  (David's third and deep anointing gave him confidence to move into a priestly role.  He even ate the showbread.)

In the last two services, Pastor Shelley preached on "Holy Anointing Oil," explaining the spiritual significance of each ingredient that was used to make the oil for the Temple worship.  There was "myrrh" which represents the bitterness of our trials, "sweet cinnamon" representing the sweetness of grace and the Word, "sweet calamus" representing divine order, and "cassia" representing humility and worship.  These ingredients were crushed together into fresh olive oil from the first pressing of the olives.  These elements in our lives, along with God crushing His Bride together, is creating the fragrant corporate anointing of the many-membered Bride. If the ingredients are changed slightly, it becomes embalming fluid!  Every ingredient is important to God.

Summer Campmeeting in Alabama: July 24 - August 7

With all that I have shared in this update, perhaps you can understand the great excitement that we have for the nearness of the fulfillment of God's Promises!

The annual Summer Campmeeting at the New Hope Revival Center, Smiths Station, Alabama, July 24 - August 7, promises to be a wonderful time of many nations coming together to minister unto the Lord, to hear from Him in a powerful way and to be changed by Him.  There has never been a time like this time!  Pastor Shelley will be preaching most of the services.  You are most welcome to come!

See: http://www.jerusalemrevival.com/campmeetinginvitation.html for more details.

From my heart . . .

Investors often try to invest in small pioneering companies that have the promise of producing something that will make a difference in the world.  The most successful investors are those who can see the coming harvest while the plant is still growing.

It is my prayer that many more of you who have appreciated these updates would be "investors" in this pioneering work that He has ordained.  In this ministry, we have many years of walking by the Spirit represented in those involved, but as I have tried to show you in this and past updates, we are coming into a new, exciting phase, and we need financial help!  The closer we come to the fulfillment of His Promises, the greater our financial need seems to be!  (Of course His miracles are greater, too!)

Like many of the ministries in Jerusalem, our greatest need is simply the finances to pay the high costs of rent and city taxes.  Many of the people in Pastor Shelley's congregation sacrifice greatly to meet the expenses of his Jerusalem apartment.  I depend upon God, working mostly through you, to meet the needs of our separate apartment (where I and our two dedicated volunteers live), which also contains the chapel and my small office.

We are still sowing to the heavens in Jerusalem nearly every day with praise and worship and spontaneous spiritual and prophetic songs, expecting God to sow back to the earth.  Added to that is the solid inspired preaching of the Word with the gifts of the Spirit in operation which has been the foundation of Pastor Shelley's ministry for almost 30 years.  In addition to our weekly service in Jerusalem, we are able to participate in his Alabama Sunday morning service (when he is not here) through video streaming by computer (www.revival.org), which causes the revealed Word to penetrate the air waves here in Zion!

Perhaps through my updates you have discovered, like I have, that Pastor Shelley is a very unique man of God.  He has the motivation and the ability to find the original divine kernel in each move of God and is not easily fooled or affected by the enemy's counterfeits.  He does not "throw the baby out with the bath water," but guided by the Holy Spirit he finds the essence of what God has been doing, incorporates it into his life and then listens carefully for divine inspiration of what God wants to do next.

God's ways are in seasons.  He showed Pastor Shelley that it is like being between courses of a large meal.  We are preparing for the next course, especially in Jerusalem.

Among other things, the Lord has been busy teaching us about the Hebrew roots of our faith and motivating us to encourage other believers to do likewise.  We have discovered that it is very easy to talk about spiritual things with a Jew when they find out that we commemorate the Jewish Feasts rather than the pagan-based Christian ones.  Not long ago, I was able to talk for an hour with a Jewish lady in an office about what we believe.  She physically felt the Holy Spirit and had tears in her eyes as I spoke.

So for us, it is a time of discovery for this next season in God, which is approaching quickly!  I would like to be able to write about big evangelistic and healing meetings, but that is not on God's agenda for us for now.  We are still learning, plowing, sowing and discovering the ancient paths that will bring us back to the original faith of our Jewish Pentecostal fathers of the First Century.  We have a spiritual mandate from God for Jerusalem, but we are still growing into it.  And we are greatly encouraged and excited by the visions and revelations from God that I have shared in this update!

I dare to say that with all my heart I believe that the spiritual and natural return on any investment in this Jerusalem ministry will be great!

I am believing God for the money to enable me to go to the Summer Campmeeting in Alabama.  The compulsory insurance on our vehicle and our monthly city taxes must be paid before I leave.  And our next quarterly rent payment will be due on August 15th, a week after I return to Jerusalem.  Some faithful "investors" have already given towards these needs, but much more is needed.  So you can see that we need a big financial miracle!  If you can help, even with a small amount, it would be so wonderful!  And I know God will give you a good return on your investment!

During the Summer Campmeeting (7/24 - 8/7), Pastor Shelley and the saints of God will pray over the offering envelopes and all prayer requests at an anointed time led by the Holy Spirit.  I will then bring them back with me to Jerusalem and put them on our prayer altar.

In Closing . . .

Thank you in advance for helping us to obey God and carry out His Jerusalem mandate!  I hope that some of you can come to the Summer Campmeeting.  I know it is going to be so special, anointed and full of revelation!

Great change is coming beginning in December 2005!  A new harvest cycle is about to begin! Let us yield now to the preparations of Y'shua to conform us into His image!

(Rom. 8:29) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Blessings from Jerusalem!
