ABOUT JERUSALEM REVIVAL CENTER

Jerusalem Revival Center is a ministry in Jerusalem sprouting from two very old classical Pentecostal roots.  It has been raised up by God to help usher in a real Holy Ghost revival to Jerusalem and Israel where the true church was birthed at Pentecost!

This ministry is a special outreach of New Hope Revival Ministries of Smiths Station, Alabama, (www.revival.org) with Brother Steven L. Shelley pastoring both ministries.  He is also the director of the Eagles Refuge Holiness Campground in Smiths Station, Alabama.  Pastor Shelley is a powerful Holy Ghost revivalist with Pentecostal revival roots through his beloved grandmother, the late Mildred Shelley, a healing evangelist who ministered extensively throughout the southern states of America.

Sister Nancy Bergen serves in many capacities and has ministered unto the Lord in Jerusalem since 1988.  She is known for her spontaneous prophetic psalmist ministry, having served for many years under the leadership of the late Ruth Ward Heflin, descendant of the great revivalist, Jonathan Edwards, and Pentecostal pioneer parents, Wallace and Edith Heflin.

Pastor Shelley has travelled the world, preaching and singing since 1975.  He received a divine call at the age of three and started his pulpit ministry at the age of seven.

He came on a tour to Israel when he was eleven and had a powerful open-eye vision when he visited the Holocaust Memorial Museum, Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem.  The vision was of the Valley of the Dry Bones from Ezekiel 37.  He saw himself speaking to those bones and watched them come to life.  He knew then that someday he would return to Israel and see this vision come to pass.

Pastor Shelley has been given a beautiful gift of seeing into the heavenly realms, and he has been faithful to declare the visions and revelations that God has given him.  Some of these visions concern future world events, and many have already come to pass.  He is a strong preacher of the uncompromised Word of God and has many spiritual gifts operating through his ministry.  He carries a heavy burden to see the Bride's Revival loosed into every nation of the world and to see God's Bride moving and operating in the freedom and liberty of the true baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Even at his relatively young age, Pastor Shelley has already travelled to fifty-eight nations.  He receives numerous invitations to hold special services, revivals and campmeetings around the world.  Tapes, CD's, videos, books and tracts continue to go out from his ministry to over seventy different nations.  Currently there is both live Internet video streaming (www.revival.org) and live telephone hook-up availability to his services in Alabama that are used by people in many different nations. 

His program, The Eagle’s Cry, is carried on Angel TV, Gospel Channel Europe and Omega Television, which reach a combined audience of 120 nations.  One satellite hovers over Israel so the Word is going forth from Zion!

Pastor Shelley makes his home in Salem, Alabama with his lovely wife, Stacey, his two sons, Benjamin Judah and Joshua River, and two daughters, Olivia Zion and Moriah Destiny. The Shelleys now also have a ministry home in Jerusalem and travel there as often as God makes it possible.

Sister Nancy leads the daily prayer meetings through spontaneous praise and worship and prophetic intercession.  She directs the activities of the ministry facility, is the administrator for the office and is responsible for the website content and periodic e-mail updates to subscribers.

Jerusalem Revival Center is currently located in two side-by-side apartments in a lovely Jewish neighborhood.  We have a chapel in our basement where worship/prayer meetings are held 2-3 PM Monday through Thursday with a Sunday morning service at 10:30.  The Sunday morning service from Smiths Station, Alabama, is broadcast into the facility at 6 PM via live Internet video streaming.  When Pastor Shelley is unable to be in Jerusalem, his Saturday night sermon from Alabama is usually played for the morning service.   Every day, special effort is made to be strong witnesses for Yeshua in this anointed City by living holy lives, separated from the ways of the world.

Our belief is that the best days are just ahead for this ministry and the ministry of God's Bride around the world.  We are moving into the days of greater Glory in the Presence of the Lord!
